Virus/Spyware removal

Most people only find out if their anti-virus software is up to the job, or not, when it's too late. CYAN Management can advise on what is the best, and most cost effective way to protect your computer, and if it's too late, assist in removing viruses and spyware. The important thing is not to leave it too late. Many people end up loosing their priceless family photos and home videos by not checking that their system is properly protected.

Hardware upgrade

With the increase use of digital photographs, music, and videos, hard disks can become full very quickly. This will slow down the computer, and it will eventually grind to a halt, unless you do something about it. CYAN Management can advise on the best way to store your files, whether an external drive would be the best option, and if necessary assist on the upgrading of your internal hard drive, and the migration of data to that drive.

Buying a new computer?

Before taking delivery of your new computer, you need to consider carefully what you can transfer from your old one, whether you need to order new software for your new system, and how you are going to transfer all your old data. Not all of your old programs may run on newer operating systems, and transferring your data is one thing, but what about transferring your emails, address book and favourites? CYAN Management are happy to help in this process, from recommending the right computer for you, setting it up and migrating your data, to coaching on new operating systems and software.

System Performance Issues

If your computer is running slower than it did when you first bought it and plugged it in, it could be a whole host of problems. Your hard disk drive may be reaching it's capacity, you may have unnecessary programs running in the background slowing the processor down, you may need more RAM (internal processing memory), or some other problem could be causing the system to run slow. We are happy to provide regular maintenance of your computer to ensure it is always running at peak performance.

Backups

Many people contact us AFTER they have had a hard drive failure, when it is likely to be too late. CYAN management can advise on and setup simple, to complex backup solutions to safeguard that business critical data, invaluable family photos or irreplaceable home videos. For your peace of mind, hourly, daily, or monthly backups can be run without you even having to think about it.

Asset Disposal

Many businesses and home users are naturally concerned about what to do with their old computers when they have served their purpose. We are asked questions like, where can I dispose of it?
